Just a quick note to thank you all so much for the great day we spent with you yesterday. We had such a good time. From the moment we arrived we were delighted by the warm welcome we received. Your gentlemen members truly deserve the name and were universally charming and friendly. Tanya and Richard were so friendly and efficient (not to mention patient!). Sharon had made ‘our’ area look lovely and she coped with all the different and varied combinations of what constituted coffee and bacon sandwiches – with or without bread, gluten, toast, eggs, butter, caffeine, with great good humour – if I need a partner for a double act I shall know where to come! As regular consumers of golf club bacon sandwiches we know a good one when we taste it – and yours were superb. The golf course was in lovely condition and I know everyone would be delighted to come and play again. After such challenging summer conditions the course was in lovely condition and a great credit to your Greens team – and like everyone else at the club, your greens staff were cheerful and friendly. I’m almost lost for words in describing the wonderful Champagne Afternoon Tea! It was fabulous and we were ‘ooh-ing and aah-ing’ as each new plate and dish arrived. The table looked beautiful and your charming staff excelled themselves in serving us. We ate beyond limits even before we got to cake! Sharon’s beautiful Victoria Sandwich got carried home in wrapped slices – just like a proper party!Thanks to your Captains Bunker on the 18th I shall not be organising next year’s event (Phew!) but I know the lady who won will have a very hard time trying to match our experience yesterday. Six of us played last week on one of the only recent dry days. We could not have been made more welcome . Despite the recent bad weather and early season the course was in excellent condition . Make sure you book a buggy . See the review on GOLFSHAKE

Second time playing here. Unfortunately, the rain spoilt things a little especially towards the end of the round when the greens became waterlogged. Quite hilly with a few left to right slopes as the course winds its way around the hills.I look forward to coming back. see the review onGOLF ADVISOR
The Wrekin was a good challenge for all of us. The greens were excellent, undulating and small making the course much more difficult than the card suggests. Overall there is a good mixture of holes with some quality par 3’s and interesting par 4’s see the review on GOLF ADVISOR
